As beautiful as this bike is I bought it mainly for its functionality. I had planned on just using my old 1994 Trek 2200 as my road bike and of course my Rocketwing as my time-trial bike. But the old Trek bike flexes so much when I'm climbing that it shift gears on its own! The old bike rides much harsher and is harder on my back. I also wanted the lower gearing that comes with a compact crank setup.
Guess who the owner of this bike is?! The Project One ordering process let's you put your name on the bike. I thought this would be good in case someone tries to take it and claims it's their bike.
