Glad you dropped by! I try to post every few days or so. You can use the subscribe feature in the left column to get an email when I post. I post video updates in the right column. Further down the page are photo albums, slideshows, archives of prior posts, etc. I write a monthly article for the Pituitary Network Association chronicling my many years of coping with a pituitary disorder and you can read them by looking in the PNA articles section in the right column. Christmas through the years...

I made a slideshow from my photos of Christmases past. The song is "The Best Christmas" by Christopher Cross. Yep, the same guy that did "Ride Like The Wind" and "Sailing" way back in 1980...

I turned 55 on Wednesday, November 25. For my birthday, all I really wanted was to bust my butt on the bike... :)

The 2009 Tour De Poway

Sunday, I took on my toughest bike ride of 2009. When I commited to doing the Tour De Poway 50-miler in August it seemed almost crazy to attempt such a hilly ride that starts out with a 3-mile climb up an 8% grade...

4 week Body-for-LIFE progress slideshow

I just completed my first 4 weeks of this Body-for-LIFE challenge. I created a slideshow with before/after photos and stats. I also rode the bike a total of 420 miles in the same 4 weeks including a 56-miler yesterday...
